Healthcare is an industry built around caring for people. The work done inside hospitals, clinics, laboratories, manufacturing floors, research sites, and policy offices reaches almost every life in some form. Yet much of what happens across that industry, the day-to-day decisions, the organizations carrying them out, the people inside them, receives less coverage than its weight deserves.

Aclaim Media launches today to widen that coverage.

The coverage problem

A handful of healthcare publications do excellent work, and they tend to concentrate on the same set of stories, the largest health systems, the public pharmaceutical companies, the highest-profile health technology IPOs, the federal policy battles in Washington. That reporting is valuable, but it covers a small slice of an industry that touches every community in the country.

Most of healthcare happens outside those headlines. Community hospitals adjusting to new payment models. Federally qualified health centers expanding access in underserved areas. Behavioral health organizations responding to a national mental health load. Medical device makers shipping the equipment that fills every operating room. Pharmaceutical teams moving therapies through trials and into pharmacies. Regulators, payers, advocacy groups, and patient organizations shaping the rules around all of it.

The organizations, the work they do, and the people inside them deserve more presence in the industry's record.

What Aclaim Media covers

Aclaim Media reports on the healthcare industry across three sectors:

  • Providers. Hospitals, health systems, FQHCs, behavioral health organizations, primary care groups, post-acute and home health, and the executives, clinicians, and operators inside them.
  • Medical technology. Device manufacturers, digital health companies, clinical software, diagnostics, and the operators, founders, and engineers behind them.
  • Pharma. Pharmaceutical and biotech companies, clinical development, commercial teams, and the people moving therapies from pipeline to patient.

Coverage extends across the surrounding ecosystem: payers, regulators, policy and advocacy organizations, investors, and the academic and research institutions that feed the industry. It spans the leadership layer, CEOs, founders, CMOs, CMIOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs, heads of clinical operations, and the work, organizations, and decisions those leaders shape.

Editorial approach

All coverage is reported in third person, in a factual and neutral voice. Aclaim Media publishes featured profiles of healthcare executives and organizations, analysis of industry developments, and commentary on policy and market shifts.

Featured profiles where there is a paid relationship between the subject and the publication carry a disclosure footer. Analysis and news commentary are published organically without such disclosures.

Interviews and direct conversations with leaders will join the editorial mix in the coming weeks. Until then, coverage draws on public record, prior interviews and statements, organizational filings, and reporting from the trade press.

Cadence

Aclaim Media will publish one piece per day for the next two weeks. After that opening run, cadence will settle into a regular weekly rhythm.

Distribution

For now, every story is published at aclaim.media. As the catalog grows, coverage will cross-publish to Medium, Substack, and LinkedIn Newsletter under Aclaim Media's byline, giving readers a choice of where to follow along.
